Garth Clark-Brown

Owner

Second generation Hotelier son, of Basil Clark-Brown, was born to be in the hotel trade having cut his teeth at the Windsor Hotel in Hermanus while it was still owned and operated by his father. He decided to set out on his own and bought the strategically situated hotel in Hanover. After 5 successful years of owning and running that hotel he grabbed the opportunity to purchase the Windsor Hotel from his father and became sole proprietor to this historic property in Hermanus. He has three dedicated children and his wish is to pass the Windsor Hotel on to them so that they may maintain the Clark-Brown legacy of the Windsor Hotel.

Assistant General Manager

Yolande is a product of the Windsor Hotel. Her many years of service and level of dedication to the Windsor is unquantifiable for such a young person to have. She is a strong no-nonsense committed team player who strives to get the best results for the guests and the Windsor Hotel.

Yolande is the brains behind The Windsor's strategic planning and focus areas. Her previous experience from numerous businesses in and around the Western Cape and her unique insight into guest demands makes her a welcome addition to the Windsor Team.

Karen van der Lith

Financial and Administration Manager

Karen breaks the mould as far as bookkeeper/accountants are concerned. Although her approach to her department is very traditional, Karen is an extremely adventurous; enthusiastic and passionate member of the team who often give a helping hand to any department in the hotel. Karen is an accountant with a difference.

Front Office Manager

Our Front Office Department is run and managed by Birgitta who brings her very own individual highly motivated style to The Windsor. She prides herself and her department on being efficient, thorough and customer orientated. Birgitta is a very hands-on manager who leads by example and there is no problem too big or too small for her to give her attention to.

Thembisa Bhilimani

Reservations

Thembi's story is a success story at the Windsor hotel and she epitomises that with good training, a thirst for knowledge and a zeal for tackling tough tasks you can succeed. Thembi has spent many years at The Windsor Hotel working her way up from the Front Office Department to now be in charge of the Reservations Department. Her friendly and efficient disposition makes her a critical member of our team. She is always willing to help and always ready to take a booking.

Lwando Madikane

Duty Manager

Lwando's cool, calm and relaxed approach to any situation makes him one of the ultimate can-do people in the hotel. His responsibilities include the bar as well as the smooth operation of the hotel. there is never a situation too big or too difficult for Lwando to deal with.

Nwabisa Bojana

Duty Manager

Nwabisa's attention to detail, friendly and welcoming disposition make her a perfect host. Her contribution towards our ongoing renovations is one of our most valuable sources of what customers want. One of her secondary functions in the hotel is training and developing our staff to reach their full potentials having started her career as a kitchen cleaner many years ago, there is no one more experienced than her to ensure that this happens.

Duty Manager

Nollie herself has worked her way from kitchen cleaner to duty manager and brings with her all of her experiences that she has gathered along the way. She is very methodical in her thinking and her approach and she makes sure that everything is at the right place at the right time.
