1958 - Bill & Phil Record

Bill and Phil Record took over custodianship of the Windsor in 1958.
They ran it for several years, gaining local support, when all the other hotels closed during the quiet times.

On Saturday nights they hosted dances with leading name bands from Cape Town and their special A Rand for a Rump or Kreef dinners.
